Program

Enjoy an insider’s look at our visiting companies as they prepare onstage for performance. Kennedy Center Dance Council members Tammy Hurt and Brandye Lee provide informational commentary, via wireless headsets, about the choreography, dancers, and history of the form as BalletX rehearses.

Headset is included with the ticket and distributed before the rehearsal at the Assisted Listening Device Booth in the Hall of States. Seating location is at the discretion of the company.

Tammy Hurt and Brandye Lee will be the commentators for two more Open Rehearsals this winter: National Ballet of China and American Ballet Theatre. More details coming soon.
